A concerned reader noticed that Jackson's Ski and Snowboard shop was closed, and they were wondering if it went out of business. The owners have confirmed with Patch that they are now closed. "We want to thank all of our loyal customers for the continued support year after year," the owner said in a statement. "Closing was a necessary but very difficult decision to make." The owners wouldn't go into details behind the closing, but they wanted to recommend Ski Stop, 256 Washington St. in Westwood, for customers who were looking for equipment. They also made an agreement with Ski Stop to take back gear from JR Lease customers. "The staff is experienced and extremely knowledgeable in the field.  You will receive the customer service that you are accustomed to," the owner said.  "Phil, the owner, welcomes Jackson's customers and guarantees that the experience and customer support will be of the highest level."
