10 More Coronavirus Deaths Reported In Peabody

The latest weekly report from the city shows that the number of new confirmed coronavirus cases continues to slow in Peabody.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody reported 10 additional coronavirus-related deaths in the city's latest weekly report, bring the death toll of city residents to 133 as of May 25.

The 10 deaths was down from the previous week, when there were 26 reported coronavirus deaths of Peabody residents. The May 25 report also showed 55 new confirmed cases, down from 72 in the previous week's report.

Of the 966 confirmed cases in Peabody so far, 133, or 14 percent, of patients died, while 403, or 42 percent, of patients have recovered. The remaining 430 cases are considered active.
