Bags Of Pills, Drugs, Cash Seized In Peabody Bust
Peabody police said two Central Street residents are facing several drug-related charges.

PEABODY, MA — A two-month investigation launched in response to community concerns about drug activity in the area of Central Street led to charges against two Peabody residents and the seizure of bags of pills, cash and other narcotics, Peabody police said.
Police said a warrant search of an apartment on Central Street led to charges filed against William Stanton and Elizabeth Stanton, both 51 years old. Both were set to be arraigned in Peabody District Court on Class A substance trafficking charges and possession with intent to distribute Class B and Class C substances.
Police said they seized "evidence consistent with the distribution of narcotics" and that the investigation was launched in response to area resident complaints about suspected drug activity.
