Join Salem High School's O*N*S*T*A*G*E for their annual winter musical, The Prom: School Edition, next week with performances Thursday 12/18 & Friday 12/19 at 7:30 PM and Saturday 12/20 at 2 PM.
Winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical and now a Netflix movie, The Prom is a story of love, acceptance, and standing up for oneself. A group of Broadway stars looking for a PR makeover disrupt a small Indiana town as they rally behind a teen girl who just wants to bring her girlfriend to her senior prom. With a score blending big Broadway show tunes and youthful pop numbers, this show is a blend of comedy and heart. Everyone on the floor, it's time to dance!
Audience members are encouraged to bring clean and gently used formal wear to be donated to the Clothing Connection to benefit students unable to afford such attire.
