Caller Reports Bottle Thrown at Her in Road Rage Incident

The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log from May 23-24.
Saturday, May 25
- 10:36 a.m. a caller reported finding gun shell casings in the East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street. An officer located the casings, which were from a Memorial Day ceremony.
- 1:53 p.m. a caller reports an exboyfriend that broke into her home and stole items from the Lowell Street apartment.
- 3:05 p.m. a caller reported that her sons vehicle was vandalized during the night on Anne Drive.
- 7:09 p.m. a caller reported a road rage incident on Andover Street. The operator fo the motor vehicle said another operator threw a bottle at her.
Sunday, May 26
- 12:47 a.m. a caller reported cars racing in the area of Centennial Drive. An officer could not located the offending vehicles.
- 2:10 a.m. a caller reported staying at at Newbury Street hotel and finding that the room was infested with bed bugs. Management at the hotel refused to refund and monies and would not speak to a responding officer. The officer forwarded his report to the Peabody Board of Health.
- 12:13 p.m. a caller reported seeing a car hit a dog on Lowell Street and flee the scene. The dog was transported to Woburn Emergency Hospital.
- 4:34 p.m. juveniles were detained for shoplifting at J.C. Penney on Andover Street. An officer reported that the store was handling the situation.
- 6:41 p.m. Victoria's Secret at the North Shore Mall reported that someone stole panties as they were closing the doors for the evening. The store reported that approximately $1,400 in underwear were stolen.
