Child Hit By Car In Peabody
A child was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Peabody in the area of Lynn Street and MacArthur Road.
PEABODY, MA — Rescue workers called for advanced life support after a car hit a child in Peabody Thursday afternoon, but that call was eventually canceled when rescue workers put the child on basic life support. Basic life support is a level of medical care for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital.
According to scanner reports, the crash occurred at the intersection of Lynn Street and MacArthur Road. Other details were not immediately available.
