City Hall Construction Postpones Flu Clinic; Free Model Ship Show Saturday
Here's what you need to know to get your week started in Peabody.

Today is Monday, Oct. 14. Here's a look at the week ahead in Peabody.
- The free, public flu clinic scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 has been postponed due to construction restrictions around City Hall for the ongoing roof repairs. A notice from the Health Department says that clinic will be rescheduled, and in the meantime, the next clinic is Oct. 21 at the Torigian Center from 9 a.m. - noon.
- The Painter's Pub also returns to the ArcWorks Community Art Center on Wednesday.
- St. John the Baptist School is holding an open house event on Wednesday.
- The City Council's finance committee will meet Thursday (7 p.m.) to discuss among other matters a $5.1 million bond order request from the mayor for several capital projects.
- State Sen. Joan Lovely is holding office hours Thursday (6 p.m.) at Peabody City Hall.
- The Peabody Republican City Committee gathers Thursday (6:30 p.m.) in the conference room of the West Branch Library.
- The free model ship show returns to the Torigian Center on Saturday. Doors open at 9 a.m.
- Temple Beth Shalom is holding a comedy night Saturday with Sarah Blodgett, Rich Gustus and Chrissy Judge Kelleher.
