Dog Sets Off Burglar Alarm And Other Items From The Peabody Police Log

A good deed at a Patriots game, stolen Christmas decorations, and a possible hit and run at Sonic.

  • A dog reportedly set off a motion alarm in a Krochmal Road home on Sunday, Dec. 11 around 4 p.m.
  • Police reported to an alleged overdose in a backyard shed on Blaney Avenue around 5:30 p.m. last Sunday. The patient was transported to Beverly Hospital.
  • Joel Rodriguez, 33, of Peabody, was arrested last Sunday on two warrants and charges of possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card and carrying a loaded firearm.
  • Walis S. Minier, 33, of Peabody, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. last Monday on charges of drunken driving and negligent driving. The arrest occurred after a car accident on Warren Street.
  • Someone called police on Monday around 2 a.m. after he saw teenagers taking Christmas decorations from homes on Lynn Street. The teens were advised to return the decorations.
  • A Peabody man lost his wallet on Monday night, but someone at the Patriots game found it and called police to help get it back.
  • Luis Gonzalez, 41, of Peabody was arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and shoplifting more than $100 worth of merchandise after he was seen running from the Northshore Mall with an armful of merchandise.
  • Someone walked into the police station on Wednesday evening to report a Mac Book Air, supplements, a PS4 and eight games were stolen from a Proctor Street home, totaling around $2,500.
  • Nicholas E. Adiletto, 26, of Peabody was arrested on charges of possessing a class B drug on Wednesday evening after a report of possible drug activity.
  • Someone reported an erratic driver on Newbury Street stopped at Sonic, possibly hit a car, and drove off around 2 a.m. on Thursday.
  • A wallet was stolen from a laundromat on Foster Street with $200 cash, credit cards, and personal items on Thursday around 11:30 a.m. The suspect was described as a white woman in her 40s with dark hair.
  • Police responded to a report of a suspicious man on Goodale Street on Thursday around noon enter a garage, bring barrels in, and close the door behind him. Officers found the man owns the home.
