The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department.
Wednesday, May 8
At 2:23 p.m., a caller on America Drive reported a possible larceny. The caller said a home health aide was there that day and then $100, two gold crucifix with chains, a madonna head and a gold pinky ring with a diamond carat were missing.
At. 3:20 p.m., a caller reported a domestic dispute between a male and female on Dimitrios Circle. Police spoke with the couple, and the woman left for the day.

At 3:54 p.m., a caller on Newbury Street reported that she was locked in the bathroom with her son after a man assaulted her. She said the man left. Police searched for him and found him in Danvers. Joseph Burke Jr., 39, of 277 Andover St., Danvers, was charged with domestic assault and battery, destruction of property and breaking and entering.
At 5:31 p.m., a man reported finding a gun in a dumpster on Lowell Street. It turned out to be pieces of a BB gun.

At 5:55 p.m., Macy's reported a shoplifter. Ramon Castro, 50, of 19 Market Square, Lynn, was charged with shoplifting.
At 10:28 p.m., a caller reported on Jubilee Drive reported a domestic dispute between a son and his family. David Cunha, 19, of 520 Jubilee Drive, was charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery.
Thursday, May 9
At 8:45 a.m., a caller on Osborne Street reported that his vehicle was broken into overnight and skateboards and an iPod were stolen.
At 10:24 a.m., a caller reported that her ex-boyfriend keeps calling her and texting her threatening messages.
