Employee Theft and Stolen Rings

Thursday, Feb. 21

At 2:22 p.m., an employee of a Newbury Street business reported that an employee of a neighboring business threatened her over a parking space. Police spoke to both people and resolved the issue for the time being.

At 3:32 p.m., a man on Church street reported that his truck windshield was smashed in.

At 5:56 p.m., an officer was at Norstrom's with shoplifter from JC Penney. JC Penney will handle internally.

At 6:25 p.m., a man reported that an employee stole his City Diamond Credit Card information and transferred it to another card and charged $1,300 worth of merchandise on it.

At 7:21 p.m., police arrested Eric Winnier, 26, of 92 East Broadway Apt. 24, Derry, on court warrants for leaving the scene of property damage.

Friday, Feb. 22

At 9:13 a.m., a resident reported multiple rings stolen, worth $6,000, not seen since Christmas and not noticed missing until last week.

At 11:42 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding in front of The Caberet Lounge and issued a citation for marijuana possession.
