Clowns come to Peabody, gypsy trucks, and more incidents from Friday, Oct. 7, to Monday, Oct. 10.

  • Someone called police around 12:30 p.m. on Friday to report that a "suspicious male" sits in a blue vehicle every day by the Rail Trail. Officers found that the man was on his work break.
  • Officers arrested Jewry J. Cedeno, 20, of Peabody, on two counts of unarmed robbery after a Lowell Street business reported $100 missing from the register on Thursday and Friday.
  • Police responded to a report of a man in a clown costume throwing rocks at people's windows around 9 p.m. on Nichols Road. Officers found two juveniles, one wearing a clown mask, and spoke to their parents.
  • Someone called police around 1 a.m. on Saturday to report an unwanted person in the house. Bradley M. West, 20, of Salem, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering, assault and battery on a person over the age of 60, assault and battery, and possession of a class C drug.
  • David R. Deming, 50, of Wilmington, was arrested from Macy's on Andover street around 3 p.m. on charges of shoplifting over $100 worth of merchandise, possession of a burglarious instrument, and another department's warrant.
  • Someone called police on Monday to report a truck parked near Technology Drive around 1:30 p.m. that the caller feels may be "a gypsy." Officers found that the truck is registered to a business and is there for work.
