George Peabody Legacy Award Nominations Sought

Nominations for the education award are due by March 23.

Peabody, MA - Do you know someone who has had a lasting impact on education and has been a tireless advocate for the education of Peabody’s students?

If so, the Peabody Education Foundation wants to hear from you.

The foundation is currently seeking nominations for the 2016 George Peabody Legacy Award.

The criteria for the award:

  • Has had a lasting impact on education 
  • Effects change for the good of the people over a significant period of time 
  • Tireless advocate for the betterment of Peabody students 
  • Is an active member in the Peabody Community 
  • Lives or works in Peabody

**Award may be posthumous

Tell the Peabody Education Foundation why you are nominating a particular person for this award. The Peabody Education Foundation (PEF) will make the final selections.

The recipients will be honored at its fourth annual award ceremony in May. All nominations must be received on or before March 23.
