High School Author Celebrates Release of Debut Novel

Several events are planned for the release of Ashley Royer's book in April.

Peabody, MA - Peabody Veterans Memorial High School junior Ashley Royer is celebrating the publication of her debut novel, "Remember to Forget," with several hometown events in early April.

The young adult imprint Blink took notice of the Royer’s writing and popularity on the online platform Wattpad, acquiring Royer as a new author. In fact, at 17, Royer is the youngest author on the Blink roster.

"Remember to Forget" will be published by Blink on April 5 and is available now for pre-order on Amazon.com and other online book retailers.

On Friday, April 8, there will be a book launch party at Stonewood Tavern on 137 Lynnfield Street in Peabody from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Books will be for sale, Ashley will be autographing them and there will be a DJ. Among those on the invite list are the Mayor of Peabody, Superintendent of School, School Committee members, Chamber of Commerce, all of Ashley’s teachers from kindergarten through present, and family and friends. The event is open to the public.

On Saturday, April 9, there will be an author event/book signing at Barnes and Noble in Peabody with a reception and a book signing from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
