  • Officers picked up a 3-year-old Husky named "Jake" on Edythe Lane and reunited him with his owner Monday afternoon.
  • Brandon J. Szelag, 23, of Sarasota, Florida, was arrested on charges drunken driving, leaving the scene of personal injury, leaving the scene of property damage, failing to stop for police, reckless driving, failing to drive within marked lanes, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Szelag was arrested after a report of an accident on Lowell Street on Monday.
  • Officers helped reunite a 7-year-old with her father after she was found in the Dunkin Donuts on Washington Street at 7 a.m.
  • Police issued a summons for someone caught on tape stealing a wallet on Lowell Street around 9 p.m.
  • A business on Andover Street called police around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after a blonde in an army jacket reportedly ran from mall security with a pair of tights.
  • Two people "arguing loudly over the TV" on Washington Street brought police on a report of a noise complaint around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A man frustrated by all the traffic on Lowell Street was spoken to by police after passersby called officers at 11 a.m. Wednesday to report a man yelling at people.
