Peabody had 14 confirmed coronavirus cases on March 27. As of Monday, there were 13,837 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Massachusetts. So far, there have been 260 coronavirus deaths in Massachusetts.
The Peabody Board of Health added more clarity to the city's state of emergency, unanimously approving a measure last week that prevents landlords from evicting tenants during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
