Nursing Home Releases Statement on Fatal Accident

Residents and staff loved Hussein's "generous spirit and kindness."

The s administrator, Peter Roberts, has issued a statement regarding Wednesday's fatal accident at the Lindall Street facility in Danvers.

"The Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff, residents and families are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of this man who was immensely popular in the facility," Roberts said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers at this time are with his family and with the many residents and staff who loved his generous spirit and kindness."

The situation remains under investigation by state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney's office. DA spokeswoman Carrie Kimball-Monahan told the Salem News a medical examiner would determine the exact cause of death within a few days.
