OUI Arrest; Third Floor Toaster Fire: Peabody Police

Sunday, March 6

At 5:02 p.m., police arrested Douglas Emery Currier, 73, of 100A Russell Street in Peabody and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense and the negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

At 6:26 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street at Allen's Lane.

At 11:16 p.m., there was a report of an attempted breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Chestnut Street. The suspect was seen fleeing on foot.

Monday, March 7

At 6:11 a.m., there was a toaster fire on the third floor of an assisted living facility on Margin Street.

At 7:12 a.m., a caller reported than an upstairs neighbor on Lowe Street was playing music too loud for that time of day.

At 8:32 a.m., there was a two-car accident on Centennial Drive.

At 11:16 a.m., police arrested Anayancy Bonnet, 22, of 219 Harvard Street in Boston on charges of the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield, and motor vehicle operator failing to self-identify.
