OUI Drugs, Second Offense Arrest for Salem Man

Peabody, MA - A Salem man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs after he allegedly struck a parked car on Washington Street in Peabody on Monday evening.

At 7:06 p.m. on Monday, police got a report of a car that had hit a utility pole near Washington Street.

At the scene, an officer reported that no pole had been struck, but a parked car had been hit.

The driver of the car, Jamie C. Norden, 30, of 44 Butler Street in Salem was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, second offense and a marked lanes violation.
