Patriots' Day Ceremony in Peabody Next Monday

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 18.

Peabody, MA - A ceremony will be held on Monday, April 18 to honor the fallen soldiers from South Danvers at the Battle of Lexington.

The ceremony, sponsored by the Peabody Historical Society and Museum, begins at 10 a.m. at 2 Washington Street, the site of the historic Bell Tavern. There will be remarks from Peabody Historical Society President Dick St. Pierre and Mayor Ted Bettencourt.

From there, the ceremony will proceed to the Lexington Monument at Washington and Sewall Streets.
