Peabody Health Department Collects Thousands of Diapers

The Peabody Health Department collected more than 2,000 diapers for families in need.

PEABODY, MA – The Peabody Health Department collected 2,146 diapers and six containers of wipes during the North Shore Diaper Drive for families in need.

The diapers will go to Haven from Hunger, and given out as needed. This was the second drive of its kind in Peabody, which lasts through April.

"This overwhelming response demonstrates the compassion and willingness of our community to work together and improve the lives of our children and families," wrote the health department in a statement. "A special thank you goes to all of those who collaborated and provided support by raising public awareness around the impact of the unmet need for diapers in Peabody and throughout the nation."
