PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents will have four chances to clean up their yards with free waste collection dates this spring.

Mayor Ted Bettencourt said in a response to calls to his office about collection, the city will have a series of collection dates on a resident's regular trash pickup day.

Residents may leave their yard waste curbside in paper bags or barrels. No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted. Residents should note that haulers may pick up regular trash first and return later in the day for yard waste. There is no charge for curbside yard waste collection.
