Peabody To Hold 5 Weeks Of Fall Free Yard Waste Pickup
Curbside pickup of leaves and other fall waste will begin the week of Oct. 6.

PEABODY, MA — Now that the trash strike is finally over after more than three months, Peabody residents can begin thinking about fall yard cleanup with the city announcing five dates for free curbside pickup of leaves and other yard waste.
Pickup will take place on the regular trash day during the weeks of Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Nov. 3, Nov. 10 and Dec. 1.
Yard waste must be left in paper bags or barrels. No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted. There is no charge for curbside leaf collection in Peabody.

Residents may also take yard waste to the Department of Public Services, 50 Farm Avenue, on any weekday during regular business hours. The Department of Public Services is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
