Peabody To Host Series Of Flu Clinics This Fall

The high-dose and standard vaccines will be given at a series of clinics at Peabody festivals, City Hall and the Council on Aging.

PEABODY, MA — Those advised to get a flu shot in Peabody this fall will have a chance to do so at a series of events across the city in September and October.

The first of the seven flu shot clinics will be in the Health Department tent at the Peabody International Festival on Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a clinic at the Brooksby Senior Day at Brooksby Farm on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Peabody Council on Aging will host flu shot clinics on Oct. 4, Oct. 25 and Nov. 30 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

City Hall will also host clinics in the Wiggin Auditorium on Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Those attending the clinics are asked to wear a short-sleeve shirt and bring their Medicare and/or insurance cards.
