Peabody Killings: Cause Of Deaths Determined

Authorities have released the manner in which Mark Greenlaw and Jennifer O'Connor were killed.

PEABODY, MA – Wes Doughty and Michael Hebb stand accused of shooting Mark Greenlaw in the head, and stabbing Jennifer O'Connor in the torso and neck, according to information from the Essex County District Attorney's office.

The DA's office notes that the bodies were not dismembered, dispelling earlier rumors.

Doughty, 39, was arraigned on Tuesday morning, and Hebb, 45, was arraigned last week, each on two counts of first-degree murder for the double homicide in Peabody on Feb. 18.

Doughty is also charged with assault and battery with a pocket knife on a person age 60 or older, armed carjacking and kidnapping for the alleged carjacking in Middleton last week. He will be arraigned in Salem District Court.

A spokesperson for the Essex County DA previously said that O'Connor's death was caused by stab wounds to the head and neck but later clarified that it was the neck and torso.
