Peabody Library Free Summer Eats Program To Include Movies, Games, Crafts

The library has launched a series of programs to go along with free meal distribution for those 18 and younger this summer.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Institute Library is launching a summer of programming to coincide with the return of the free Summer Eats meal distribution for students 18 years and younger.

The program runs every Monday through Thursday in July and August from 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Main Library Courtyard.

This year's activities include:

  • Movie Mondays - Join us INSIDE for a Movie with your food.
  • Take or Make Tuesdays - Take or Make a Craft while you eat.
  • Water Play Wednesdays - Play with water toys and outdoor game.
  • Thoughtful Thursdays - participate in mindful activities, such as coloring, meditation, or journaling.
