Peabody Man, 5 Lynn Men Indicted In Drive-By Lynn Shooting Deaths
The six men were each charged with two counts of murder in the Sept. 23 shooting death of two men and injury of five others.
SALEM, MA — A Peabody man and five Lynn men were indicted on two counts of murder each in the Sept. 2023 drive-by shooting deaths of two Lynn men that injured five others.
Justin Alba, 25, of Peabody, and Lynn residents Darwin Batista, 20, Yefferson Vallecillo Cambar, 22, Carlos Ramirez Corniel, 16, Leonardo Espinoza, 15, and Abel Severino Reyes, 21, were charged with two counts of murder in July and indicted by an Essex County grand jury in the shooting deaths of Jandriel Heredia, 21, of Revere, and Abraham Dias, 25, of Lynn.
Alba, Batista, Vallecillo Cambar, Severino Reyes, Corniel and Espinoza were also charged with one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, while Corniel and Espinoza were both indicted as youthful offenders.

"The indictment of these six individuals represents a significant step in seeking justice for the victims in this case that deeply impacted our community," Lynn Police Chief Chris Reddy said.
