Peabody Man Seriously Injured In NH Snowmobile Crash
Gary Muise, 52, of Peabody, collided with another snowmobile rider, who was also injured.
PEABODY, MA — Two Massachusetts men were seriously injured Friday when their snowmobiles collided on a trail in Dixville, NH.
Another rider called 911 around 3 p.m. Friday to report the crash, New Hampshire Fish & Game said.. Gary Muise, 52, of Peabody, was taken by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH. Jared Bielunis, 37, of Hatfield, was taken by ambulance to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook and later transferred by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
The riders collided while traveling in opposite directions on Trail 134. Both men were wearing appropriate safety gear and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the crash.
