Peabody Man Wins $2 Million Instant Lottery Prize

The winning ticket was bought at the Sunoco on Lynn Street.

PEABODY, MA — A Peabody man said he is planning on buying a new car and going on a vacation after winning $2 million on an instant ticket.

John Ferragamo was a grand prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery's $2,000,000 50X Cashword instant ticket game.

He chose the one-time cash payment of $1.3 million.

Ferragamo bought his winning ticket at the Sunoco on Lynn Street in Peabody.

The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
