Peabody Murder Site Has Violent History

The home where two bodies were found on Saturday night has cropped up in the police log before.

PEABODY, MA – The home where two bodies were found over the weekend was also the site of a stabbing in 2012.

A couple who investigators thought to be living at 19 Farm Ave. – not the listed owners – were found murdered late Saturday night. Police have one suspect in custody. The Essex County District Attorney's Office called it a "messy" crime scene.

In 2012, the home made headlines for a different crime: A Peabody man was charged with attempted murder after stabbing a New Hampshire man.
