Peabody Needs Snow Plow Operators For This Winter

PEABODY, MA — Summer may be just ending but in Peabody preparations are already being made for winter storms.

That includes hiring snow plow drivers with the city purchasing department accepting applications from experienced drivers for the upcoming season.

Those applying are required to include evidence that City Garage has inspected the vehicles and evidence of insurance.

The city is in particular need of vehicles over 12,000 gross vehicle weight to be able to handle certain routes.

Applications can be obtained at the Public Services Department or by emailing purchasing@peabody-ma.gov.

Upon completion, applications can be returned to the Public Services Department, 50 Farm Avenue, Peabody MA 01960.
