Peabody Police Seize Drugs, Cash In Early Morning Raid

Leonel Gonzalez, 27, and Jennifer R. Kyminas, 30, both of Peabody, were arrested and scheduled to be arraigned on multiple charges.

PEABODY, MA —Police seized drugs and cash and arrested two people during an early-morning raid Thursday at an apartment on Central Street in Peabody.

Leonel Gonzalez, 27, and Jennifer R. Kyminas, 30, who both live at the apartment, were arrested and scheduled to be arraigned in Peabody District Court Friday. Both charged with trafficking over 12 grams of fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute Adderall. Kyminas was also charged with witness intimidation.

In a news release, Peabody police said the raid at 6:30 a.m. Thursday followed "an investigation of several month" after neighbors had complained. Undercover Peabdy police detectives made drug purchases and obtained a search warrant. A Swat unit secured the apartment prior to the raid.

Peabody police said they recovered 1,400 Oxycodone pills cntaining fentanyl, an unspecified number of Adderall pills, $3,000 in cash, and drug packaging materials. Police said the drugs had a street value of $35,000.
