Peabody Resident Gives Special Shoutout to Police Captain Wlasuk

The Peabody Police received a very kind message from a civilian who wanted to express her gratitude to our own Peabody Captain Wlasuk for going above and beyond in the line of duty, kudos to Capt. Wlasuk for the strong work and continuing to set a great example for all to follow.

Here is the message from the civilian in her own words:
"I'd like to give a shout out to Detective Wlasuk! Today he is my knight in shining armor. I was with the children and got a flat tire on a busy crazy street and there just so happened to be construction happening right near me. I pulled into a driveway nearby and, in seeing my despair through the window, he walked over to see if I was ok.
He didn't have to do that.
Detective Wlasuk went above and beyond. He called a tow truck, so it would come faster, helped me lug a yard sale full of stuff in and out of my van, helped the tow truck guy and myself solve the riddle of the missing spare tire (there wasn't one in the end.) He stopped traffic and kept my children entertained, while we waited for their Nanny (Jacquelyn). He even shared his family stories with me while we waited.
There were questions in the eyes of passersby, but it didn't matter, we were to busy joking and chatting and solving silly mysteries...all related to my vehicle (why do they hide the spare tire on the minivan? We needed a 3 minute youtube video to find where it should be...tow truck driver too)
