Peabody Snow Emergency Parking Ban Begins Saturday Night

Peabody has called a snow emergency parking ban ahead of a winter storm that could bring between 3 to 6 inches of snow to the North Shore.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody has called an 11 p.m. snow emergency parking ban ahead of the storm set to arrive Saturday night and last through much of Sunday.

Forecasts have the North Shore set to receive between 3 and 6 inches of snow with high winds and perhaps rain mixing at times early in the storm.

Any vehicle still on the street as of 11 p.m. will be subject to ticketing and towing.

"Please remove all parked cars from public roads to allow for safe and effective snowplow operations," Peabody officials said on Saturday.
