The on Central Street was robbed at knife-point Thursday afternoon.
According to scanner reports, a man with a machete held up the cashier and took off on foot in the area of Central and Margin streets. The man was described as wearing cargo shorts and a striped shirt
Shortly after the robbery, police apprehended the suspect. He is now in police custody. Salem Police responded to the scene as well as Peabody Police.
