Spring Yard Waste Collection Dates Set

Residents can also bring yard waste to the Department of Public Services.

Peabody, MA - Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. and the Department of Public Services have scheduled the dates for spring curbside yard waste collection. Curbside pick-up of leaves and yard waste is scheduled for the weeks of April 18; May 2; and May 16.

Please note that the week of April 18 is a holiday week, so trash collection will be delayed by one day. During these designated weeks only, residents may leave their leaf and yard waste curbside in paper bags or barrels on their normal trash pickup day. No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted. Residents should note that haulers may pick up regular trash first and return later in the day for yard waste. There is no charge for curbside leaf collection.

Residents should also note they can take yard waste to the Department of Public Services, 50 Farm Avenue any weekday during regular business hours. The Department of Public Services is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
