Train Store Seeks To Share Special Experience
North East Trains has been on Main Street for almost 30 years.
PEABODY, MA — This is part of Patch's series on Small Business Saturday. This year, consumers are again asked to “Shop Small” on Saturday, Nov. 26.
When Don Stubbs was 10 years old, he got a train set on Christmas morning from his family. Over the years he added to the set which Stubbs — owner of North East Trains — still owns today.
"I try to give that special experience to others of all ages," said Stubbs. The business has been on Main Street for nearly 30 years now, and Stubbs said he loves to share hobbies with customers and lend support in any way he can.
