Teen Arrested on Multiple Charges After Report of Kids Breaking Windows
The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it doesn't indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log from May 21-22.
Tuesday, May 21
- 2:18 p.m. a caller reported that her handicap placard was stolen on King Street.
- 4:26 p.m. a caller reported kids breaking windows on Corwin Street. Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male. He was charged with resisting arrest, malicious destruction of property and trespassing and disorderly conduct.
- 5:29 p.m. a caller reported a possible house fire on Upton Street. The smoke coming from a window turned out to be steam.
- 6:25 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Harris Street. A caller said someone sideswiped his mother's car.
- 10:22 p.m. an officer reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street. Both vehicles were towed and no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, May 22
- 3:57 a.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on Lakeland Park Drive.
- 7:31 a.m. a motor vehicle hit and run was reported on Margin Street. An orange truck left the area towards Fenwick.
- 9:37 a.m. a caller reported vandalism on Newbury Street. The resident said that the deck of his trailer was damaged. He believes it was damaged by a female that is known to him.
- 1:37 p.m. a shoplifter was reported at Sears on Andover Street. Police responded and arrested Carol A. Collins, 58, of 798 Main St., Wakefield. Collins was charged with shoplifting by concealing, receiving stolen property under $250, two counts.
