Tuesday, July 10

  • At 3:58 p.m., a resident of Northend Street reported a 20-year-old entered her backyard and asked her 12-year-old daughter and her friends if he could play with them. Police could not locate the man.
  • At 4:34 p.m., the Fire Department put out a small fire at a Lowell Street home. The fire was put out with a garden hose.
  • At 6:28 p.m., police performed a courtesy booking of John P. Mauro Jr., 35, 36 Franklin St., Peabody, on a warrant out of Salem.
  • At 7:55 p.m., a Danvers woman was issued a summons for shoplifting at T&L Liquors on Lowell Street.

  • At 1:41 a.m., police responded to 7-Eleven for a couple arguing. The clerk told police the woman pulled a knife on a man and then they both left the store and drove away in separate cars. Saugus Police arrested Kathleen Puglisi, 41, 5 Hawke St., Saugus, and charged her with intimidating a witness, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
  • At 5:21 a.m., police arrested John J. Connors, 50, 29 Goodale Street, Peabody on charges of violating an abuse prevention order.
  • At 6:40 a.m., police arrested Emmanuel Cervantes, 28, 126 Shawmut St., Chelsea, and charged him with driving after license suspension and driving with a suspended registration.
  • At 1:36 p.m., a person reported a road rage incident on Lowell Street.
