• TEAM Recognition (gardnermagazine.com) — Phillipston firefighters, police, EMS, and highway staff have been honored for their rapid, coordinated rescue of two adults who fell through the ice on Queen Lake last February. Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. presented the TEAM Excellence and Merit Award, praising how local responders used their ice rescue training to pull both victims to safety within minutes.
