How to post a story, photo or video to Plymouth Patch
Two video tutorials demonstrate creating an account and posting information on Plymouth Patch.
Hello Plymouth Patch readers.
First, thanks for reading (and watching). Plymouth Patch has flourished during the past year thanks to a welcoming, engaged community, and today I'm here to provide some information on how you can connect even more easily with your neighbors.
Here are two videos that show how you can create an account if you haven't already, and also how to post your own announcements and events.Â
In addition to and  there are several other ways to add your own content to the site.
- Blog – If you are interested in blogging for Patch, email me at casey.meserve@patch.com.
- Letters to the Editor – Drop me a line at casey.meserve@patch.com and we'll post your letter. If your issue needs illustration, feel free to send along a photo(s) or video as well.
- Your Own News Coverage – It's hard to be everywhere, but if you are at an event and don't see Patch there, you can send in anything you like – a note about what happened, a photo or a video or even just a couple words that you'd like to see on Facebook or Twitter.
- Social Media – Speaking of which, it's super easy to connect with us and the Plymouth community through Patch on Facebook (Facebook.comPlymouthPatch) and Twitter @PlymouthMaPatch. Give us a shout!
- Post Classifieds – On the front of the website, at the top near News and Events, there is a tab labeled Classified. From there you can search for jobs, goods and services in the area, and also post your own classifieds.
- Review and Claim "Places" – Also on the homepage, at the top there is tab labeled Places. There you can browse for restaurants, churches, parks, gas stations and just about everything else in Plymouth. But you can also claim one of those places if you are a business owner or manager. Doing that lets you edit some of the information and also connect with our sales team for any advertising needs you have.
If you would like to engage in some way that I haven't listed above, please drop me a line or comment below. And don't forget to check out the incredibly helpful videos attached.
