PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth man is $1 million richer — minus taxes — after recently hitting a jackpot on a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket. Daniel Shields was the 33rd $1 million prize winner in the "200X" instant game. Shields chose the annuity option and this week received his first of 20 $50,000 payments. He said he plans to use some of the money to take a vacation, lottery officials said.
