McGuire Jr., Formerly of East Hampton, Dies December 5 (27east.com) — Pocasset readers may recognize the McGuire family, as Edward F. “Frank” McGuire Jr. is survived by his daughter Elizabeth McGuire of Pocasset. The 92-year-old Navy veteran and longtime East Hampton volunteer firefighter died December 5 in Melbourne, Florida, after a life devoted to family, community service, and travel. A celebration of life is planned in East Hampton this spring.
