2023 Boston Marathon Results: How Reading Runners Finished

See the times for the 17 Reading runners who completed the 127th Boston Marathon.

BOSTON, MA — The 127th running of the Boston Marathon took place Monday and featured 30,000 entrants from 122 countries and all 50 states.

Evans Chebet of Kenya repeated as the men's winner, completing the race in 2:05:54. He finished ahead of Tanzania's Gabriel Geay (2nd, 2:06.04) and Kenya's Benson Kipruto (3rd, 2:06.06).

On the women's side, Hellen Obiri of Kenya was the winner, finishing with a time of 2:21:38.Ethiopia's Amane Beriso was second (2:21:50) and Israel's Lonah Salpeter was third (2:21:57).

Apart from the world's elite runners, plenty of local runners competed in the marathon. Seventeen Reading residents completed the course on Monday. Here are their times:
