
On the weekend of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, moonlight productions will bring the enduring tales of the ship’s tragic maiden voyage to life with Titanic: The Musical on stage at the First Congregational Church, 7 Andover St., Georgetown. The highly acclaimed Tony award winning musical is an intimate portrait of many of the ships’ most famous passengers, its crew and a group of third-class passengers seeking a better life in America. The multi-generational talented cast, including North Reading mother and daughter Diane and Stephanie Morey, will tell the story in three performances, Thursday, April 12, Friday, April 13 and Saturday April at 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Stephanie Morey is featured as second class passenger Alice Beane, the wife of a hardware store owner that longs for the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Her mother Diane is also a passenger.
Tickets are $12 for general admission, $15 for reserved seating and $10 for seniors and kids age 12 and under. The facility is handicapped accessible. Advanced tickets are available by contacting Linda Greenstein at linda7315@verizon.net and at the Box Office just prior to the performances.
