Beverly Man Arrested for Receiving Stolen Property from North Reading Business
Andrew Murley was arrested for receiving stolen property from New England Carpet in North Reading.

, in conjunction with Peabody and Beverly Police, made an arrest related to the break in at New England Carpet Sunday. According to police, Andrew Murley, 26, of 9 Chestnut St., Beverly was arrested Monday at the North Shore Mall in Peabody for receiving stolen property.
At 12:45 p.m. Sunday, the that his office and trucks were broken into overnight. According to North Reading Police, they conducted a joint investigation with Peabody and Beverly Police and arrested Murley Monday. Murley was in possession of one piece of equipment from New England Carpet, and police recovered between $15,000 and $20,000 worth of stolen property in a storage locker in Peabody. The property was high end commercial flooring and carpeting cleaning equipment including heavy machines, extractors and vacuums.
Both North Reading and Peabody Police are charging Murley with one count of receiving stolen property over $200. The case remains open.
