Reading Citizens Police Academy Winter Session Coming Up

READING, MA — Citizens Police Academy is coming up for winter 2026 in Reading.

Classes will start Wednesday, Jan. 26, and run through March 25. Classes will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the police department.

The academy offers the opportunity to:

• Meet the officers who serve the community
• Get a close-up look at real police operations
• Ask questions, participate in hands-on activities, and explore our equipment
• Participate in a ride-along

Each evening presents different topics and classes. You must be present for 6 out of 9 classes in order to participate in the ride-along program.
