Book Discussion at Reading Senior Center

The following was submitted by the Reading Public Library:

The Not-Too-Stuffy Book Group will meet at the , 49 Pleasant Street, on Thursday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss Always Looking Up: the Adventures of an Incurable Optimist by Michael J. Fox.  The discussion will be led by Barbara Currie.

In his memoir, popular film and television actor, Michael J. Fox, evaluates the personal philosophy that has enabled his positive outlook in spite of his battle with degenerative Parkinson's disease. Fox reflects upon how he has become a happier and more satisfied person by recognizing the gifts of everyday life.

Copies of this book are available at the Reading Public Library and at the Senior Center.  All adults are welcome to attend this program, and no registration is necessary.  The group meets in the Senior Center Lounge on the second floor.
