Info On Christmas Tree Collection Released In Reading

READING, MA — The Town is offering two convenient options to recycle your Christmas tree this January.

Republic will collect trees and leaves curbside next week, January 12–16, 2026, and residents may also drop trees off at the Compost Center on Strout Ave. on Saturday, January 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please remember to remove all decorations, trees in plastic bags or with tinsel/decorations cannot be collected or accepted. Leaves will also be collected curbside next week as well.
