Building Facade Collapses In Reading
Firefighters responded to the call Wednesday morning when several bricks fell from the building.

READING, MA — A building's facade collapsed Wednesday morning in Reading, according to Reading Firefighters Local 1640.
The union posted the following on Facebook:
"Crews are currently on scene of a facade collapse on Lowell Street. There are no injuries at the scene and the building department has been notified."

Several bricks fell from 32 Lowell St. and local firefighters were at the scene. The building is a former church that is now home to the Northeast School of Ballet, according to WHDH 7-News.
Reading Town Manager Matt Kraunelis told the station that construction crews were doing renovations to the building when the bricks fell.
