Just after 5 p.m. Wednesday, an older male drove his vehicle into the Subway on Lowell Road in North Reading. The crash caused minor damage to the car and building, but no one was injured, according to North Reading Police. Police believe the accident was caused by an operator error issue, but the incident is still under investigation. The Subway is still open for business. The car caused damage to the outer wall below the window.
